Biography:

Veronica B. Vallenes is a norwegian born, Copenhagen based designer. She is educated from the National College of Art and Design, Institute of Costume and Clothes Design, in Norway. She moved to Copenhagen in 2005 and has lived there since.

After school Vallenes started working with costumes, mostly to experimental shows done by a group called Loop Loop Loop where the visual look is a big part of the show. It`s extravagant, expressive and has a mysterious David Lynch kind of feeling about it.
Now she focus mostly on her own collection under the same name, Veronica B. Vallenes, where she downplays extravagance in favour of a highly wearable, yet edgy, collection.

Her design balances between being edgy, cool, feminine and sophisticated and her focus is on straight lines and silhouettes that are flattering for the woman body. She mixes vintage look with todays referances and gives it an exotic touch.

For Veronica B. Vallenes collaborations with exciting and talented photographers, artist and musicians is important for the developing of her brand. She has worked with talented photographers like Sacha Maric and Thomas Skou and artist like Oh Land and Annie and they have participated in making her brand interesting and attractive.


Vallenes has during the last year gotten a lot of recognition in the industry. She has done over 40 interviews with magazines like Dazed & Confused, Pig Magazine and Costume and her brand has been featured in magazines like Pop Magazine, Fallen Magazine, Mirage, Cover, Elle, Eurowoman to mention a few and has also been featured in over 400 blogs from all over the world. She is now nominated to Max Factor New Talent Award as one of three designers, she was nominated to the norwegian design award Nåløyet and won This Years Debutant Price from Oslo Fashion Week in february.
