Fall/Winter 2011 Collection:

Working with classic casuals silhouettes AW11 sees Christopher Shannon infusing looks with worldly inspired fabrics from his ongoing intrerest in photojournalism and photographers such as Pieter Hugo and Sirkka-Liisa Konttinen. As a life long fan of David Attenbourough, Shannon as used the TV series Human Planet as a source of inspiration, nothing that wherever in the world you look, sportswear seems to always creep in. Old track top that have ended up in landfill sites are worn by tribes alongside handcrafted, traditional garments.

This season’s prints are bplder, more abstract and have been worked into many accessories. Fabric range from clean nylons and cottons to heavily embellished woven blanket fabric. For the first time blacks and patterns play a large part in the collection palette.
