Style:
Each season, Christophe Lemaire creates a timeless and convertible garde-robe where everyday gestures are at the core of the designs. Searching for the perfect balance between unclutterred classics and uni¬que pieces that enhance one’s personality, the brand offers shapes so precise in their volume and proportions that those who expérience them wish for them to be eternal. elaborated along a parallel basis, men and women’s collection combine their common strengths : a nucleus of key pieces, revisited, renewed and improved as an obvious leitmotiv. silhouettes borrow to the oriental garnments their sophisticated ease and the generosity of their volumes, thus updating western essentials such as a wadded kimono coat wrapped around a perfectly cut suit in british wool tweed. paper-like raincoats and breezy ensembles in blends of cotton and linen glide in a new wave mood when the sunnier days arrive. Through a respectful communication, faithful customers and collections generating meaning, Christophe Lemaire is distributed in shops that are reco¬gnised for their uncompromising selections (Maryam Nassir Zadeh in New York), and key department stores (Harvey Nichols Hong Kong, Corso Como Seoul) as well as Le Bon Marche in Paris.
